Guaranteed raw food, because they are cracked cold! What other cashew nut can make the same claim? The subtropical climate of Indonesia offers conditions that are truly a paradise for the cashew nut and so ensure its high quality. Conventional organic cashew nuts are industrially steamed or boiled in hot oil at up to 205°C before being cracked. In addition conventional cashew nuts are dried afterwards at about 80°C. That leaves our cashew nuts “cold” – they are cracked and skinned individually by hand! These cashews are a genuine rarity. They are a pure delight both on their own and as an ingredient in lots of delicious (raw food) recipes.
The delicious kidney-shaped delights from the tropical cashew tree are an unbeatable source of the elementary nutrients sodium, calcium, magnesium, phosphorous, iron, zinc, folic acid and the amino acid arginine, which are all so important for vitality.
